Spain and portugal were both looking for gold, but spain got more than portugal because of the treaty of tordesillas. Portugal was strictly allowed only in brazil while spain got the rest of south america, the carribean and mexico.

Portugal–Spain relations describes relations between the governments of the Portuguese Republic and the Kingdom of Spain. The two states make up the vast majority of the Iberian Peninsula and as such, the relationship between the two is sometimes known as Iberian relations.

In recent years, both countries have enjoyed a much friendlier relationship. The two countries have the European Union, Eurozone, Schengen Area, and NATO in common.

For the colonists side in the Battle of Lexington and Concord, <span>49 were killed, 39 were wounded, and 5 were missing.

For the British side, </span><span>73 were killed, 174 were wounded, and 26 were missing.

Totalled from both sides, there were 122 killed, 213 wounded, and 31 missing.
