I thought you said these problems were all different. They look exactly the same to me.

<span>Figure the volume of one of the small blocks, and use that to divide into the whole volume. </span>

<span>3 1/4 = 13/4 so the box has a volume of 13/4 * 3 * 1 = 39/4 ft^3 </span>

<span>each small block has a volume of (1/4)^3 = 1/64 ft^3 </span>

<span>(39/4) / (1/64) = 624

Hope this helps love.

Assoli18 [71]

Answer:

x +(2x + 3) = 33

Step-by-step explanation:

two equations can be derived from the question

c = 3 + 2x equation 1

c + x = 33 equation 2

where :

c =  cappuccinos

x =  lattes

make c the subject of the formula in equation 2

c = 33 - x equation 3

equate 3 and 1

x +(2x + 3) = 33

Herbert plans to use the earnings from his lemonade stand according to the table above, for the first month of operations. If he
FinnZ [79.3K]

Table is attached below

From the table we can see that the Lemon cost is equal to 35% of the expenses

Let the expense be x, Lemons cost is 70

Lemon cost = 35% * x

70 = 35% * x ( 35% = \frac{35}{100} = 0.35)

70 = 0.35 * x

x = \frac{70}{0.35}

x= 200, Expense = $200

Given : Profit percentage is 15%= \frac{15}{100} = 0.15

Profit = profit percentage * Expense

Profit = 0.15 * 200 = 30

So profit = $30

An arts academy requires there to be 3 teachers for every 75 students and 6 tutors for every 72 students. How many tutors does t
suter [353]
5 teachers and 10 tutors because we can make a proportion:

3/75=x/120, and when you cross multiply and solve for x you will get 4.8, but there can't be 4.8 teachers so we can say 5 teachers (round). Do the same for tutors: 6/72=x/120, x would equal 10.

Hope this helps!
