The question is incomplete other wise it is really easy to solve if you now how to make the line of equation. As we know the formula to calculate the line of equation is y - y1 = m (x - x1)

Where m is the slope. y1 is the first y co ordinate. x1 is the first x co ordinate.

And the formula for slope is as we know is m = y2 - y1 divided by x2 - x1.

Where m is the slope. y2 is the second y co ordinate. y1 is the first y co ordinate. x2 is the second x co ordinate. x1 is the first x co ordinate.

Giving 30 points to whoever helps me.Fasttttt and no wrong answers.
Dahasolnce [82]
The answer is y = -3x + 10.
The rest is not linear since the rest is not in the form of y = mx +b (a type equation for a line).

Have an awesome day! :)

What is the slope of a line that is perpendicular to a line whose equation is −2y=3x+7 ?
MariettaO [177]

The slope of a line that is perpendicular to a line whose equation is −2y = 3x + 7 is \frac{2}{3}

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

Given that we have to find the slope of the line that is perpendicular to a line whose equation is −2y = 3x + 7

<em><u>The slope intercept form is given as:</u></em>

y = mx + c

Where "m" is the slope of line and "c" is the y - intercept

<em><u>Given equation is:</u></em>

-2y = 3x + 7\\\\-y = \frac{3}{2}x + \frac{7}{2}\\\\y = \frac{-3}{2}x - \frac{7}{2}

On comparing the above equation with slope intercept form,

m = \frac{-3}{2}

We know that product of slope of a line and slope of line perpendicular to it is -1

Therefore,

\frac{-3}{2} \times \text{ slope of line perpendicular to it } = -1\\\\ \text{ slope of line perpendicular to it } = \frac{2}{3}

Thus slope of line that is perpendicular to given line is \frac{2}{3}
