Answer:

$4.98 Dollars In Change

Step-by-step explanation:

You know how the grocery bill is at $6.08 right? Well, you pay with a $10 bill and a dime which will obviously get change back.

Let's display this situation:

$1.10 - $6.08 Why?

Since the 10 Dollar bill was included with the dime, the amount would look like that. The result of the answer will be negative, but we can conclude that the amount looks reasonable

All in all, our solution is $4.98 he will get back in change.

The measure of an angle is two times the measure of a supplementary angle. what is the measure of each angle
lara31 [8.8K]
Let the angles be x and (180-x).

Let 2x = 180-x.

Then 3x = 180, and x = 60.  One angle is 60 degrees and the other is 180-60, or 120, degrees.

A biologist studying the relationship between tilapia and catfish in a pond finds that the ratio of tilapia to catfish is 6:20.
Neko [114]

Answer: 9 tilapia

Step-by-step explanation:

The ratio of 6:20 for tilapia to catfish means that for every six tilapia, there are 20 catfish in the pond.

If there are 30 catfish, use direct proportion to find out the number of tilapia:

6     :      20

x     :       30

Cross multiply:

20x = 180

x = 180 / 20

x = 9 tilapia

Find the 53rd term of the arithmetic sequence<br> 27,11, -5
vivado [14]

Answer:

The 53rd term of this arithmetic sequence is -805.

Step-by-step explanation:

The general rule of an arithmetic sequence is the following:

a_{n+1} = a_{n} + d

In which d is the common diference between each term, that is, d = a_{3} - a_{2} = a_{2} - a_{1}.

To find the nth term of the sequence, this equation can be written as:

a_{n} = a_{1} + (n-1)d

27,11, -5

So a_{1} = 27, a_{2} - a_{1} = 11 - 27 = -16[/tex[tex]a_{n} = a_{1} + (n-1)d

a_{53} = a_{1} + (52)d = 27 + 52*(-16) = -805

The 53rd term of this arithmetic sequence is -805.

Can someone please help me!
vladimir1956 [14]
Hello!

To find the circumference of a circle you do 2 \pi r where r is the radius of the circle

So we do 2\pi 72

Then we substitute pi for 3.14

2 * 3.14 * 72 = 452.16 yds

Then we multiply this by 5 since he runs 5 laps

Which gives us the answer of 2260.8 yds

Hope this helps!
