Robots over the next decade are expected to become more affordable, more advanced and more prominent in the labor market as they improve productivity and cut costs. U.S. labor costs could shrink by 22 percent if machines complete only 25 percent of the tasks they're capable of performing. And while reduced labor costs are good for business owners, productivity increases could come at the expense of low-skill jobs.
