<span>He dates the entries as someone would a letter or a journal, like many people used to have. He uses Christianity in the story because almost everyone is a christian at this time. Jonathan’s descriptions helped to make the story more realistic because he talked in the way the intended audience did, the thought many of the same things as well.</span>
