<h2>Hello!</h2>

The answer is: the hypotenuse length is 16.4 cm.

<h2>Why?</h2>

Since it's a right triangle, we can use the pythagorean theorem to find the length of the hypotenuse.

The Pythagorean Theorem states that:

c=\sqrt{a^{2}+b^{2}}

Where:

c=hypotenuse\\a=TriangleSide/Leg=10cm\\b=TriangleSide/Leg=13cm

So, the calculating we have:

hypotenuse=\sqrt{10cm^{2}+13cm^{2}}

hypotenuse=\sqrt{100cm+169cm}

hypotenuse=\sqrt{269cm}

hypotenuse=16.4cm

Hence, the hypotenuse length is 16.4 cm.

Have a nice day!

you'd use the pythagorean theorem.

a^2+b^2=c^2

a is the first leg, b is the second leg, and c is the third leg.

10^2+13^2=c^2

100+169=c^2

269=c^2

take the square root of both sides

16.4=c

16.4cm is your answer!

In this triangle, what is the value of x?
nalin [4]

Answer: x=56.5\ km

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the right triangle in the image, you need to remember the following identity:

cos\alpha=\frac{adjacent}{hypotenuse}

Observe the triangle. You can identify that:

\alpha=28\°\\adjacent=x\\hypotenuse=64

Then, knowing these values, you can substitute them into  cos\alpha=\frac{adjacent}{hypotenuse}:

cos(28\°)=\frac{x}{64}

Finally, you have to solve for "x".

Therefore, the value of "x" rounded to the nearest tenth is:

64*cos(28\°)=x\\x=56.5\ km

Picture included at the top. 6th grade math
OleMash [197]

Answer:

4 and 5

Step-by-step explanation:

So alternate means there's on different sides of the one line that cuts through both lines, so that would be 1 and 8, 2 and 7, 3 and 6, and 4 and 5. But interior means that it's on the inside, so that would be 3 and 6, and 4 and 5, so 4 and 5 is your answer

hope this helps:)
