Answer:

$583,462

Explanation:

Mountain's corporation has a contribution margin ratio of 52%

= 52/100

= 0.52

They have a monthly fixed expenses of $296,400

The target profit is $7,000

Therefore, the dollar sales that is closest to the target profit can be calculated as follows

= Target profit+Fixed expenses/CM ratio

= $7,000+$296,400/0.52

= $303,400/0.52

= $583,462

Hence the dollar sales to attain the target profit is closest to $583,462

Which of the following interactions with vendors would potentially lead to inventory reductions?
VMariaS [17]

Answer: a. reduced lead times

Explanation:

Lead time in a process refers to the amount of time it takes from the process's initiation to its conclusion. In general in Business, the shorter the lead time of a process, the better for the business as it usually leads to higher productivity, output and revenue levels.

Same goes for the reduction of lead times in transaction with vendors. With a shorter lead time, the process of making goods available for sale would be less and thus the goods can be sold in the market quicker therefore reducing inventory levels.

VLD [36.1K]

Answer:

There are two points that I would like to single out that are very similar. First by implementing tax and gift taxes, Founding Father wanted to weaken families and business of that time, since there was a threat that rich families could become permanent aristocracy which over time could lead to the point where that families will rule the US. Second, by implementing those two taxes, government is taking a share from receivers since the receivers are getting some good that they did not earn it, they have just received it as a gift or as an estate. This way inheritance or gift would be of a much lesser value then it was before someone’s death or before someone made a gift. This was important because wealth of powerful families would just accumulate and grow so government of that time, strictly out of political reasons, prescribed those two taxes, so that the wealth will be smaller of value after tax.

  • The sunk cost effect is manifested in a greater tendency to continue an endeavor once an investment in money, effort, or time has been made. Evidence that the psychological justification for this behavior is predicated on the desire not to appear wasteful is presented.
