Answer:

The correct response is Gregor Mendel; He worked with Pisum sativum.

Explanation:

Gregor Mendel's trait inheritance experiments were carried out using different varieties of Pisum sativum or the pea plant.  Mendel's experiments resulted in the development of three foundational principles of inheritance: the law of dominance, the law of segregation, and the law of independent assortment.  Mendel found that some plant traits were dominant and some plant traits were recessive because he would cross plants with different colored flowers and red would be dominant over white, for example. His law of segregation explained why the offspring of hybrids would have either red or white flowers because the different genes separate pass into different gametes formed by a hybrid and then go to different individuals in the offspring of the hybrid. In the law of independent assortment, Mendel demonstrated that the allele for one gene does not influence the allele another gene receives. When two traits are observed together there can be a number of combinations in inheritance: red flowers and round seeds for example, and red flowers but wrinkled seeds.

There are several unique characteristics of qualitative research that make it distinct from quantitative research. Describe the
Juli2301 [7.4K]

Answer:

Quantitative research is statistical: it has numbers attached to it, like averages, percentages or quotas. Qualitative research uses non-statistical methods. For example, you might perform a study and find that 50% of a district’s students dislike their teachers.

Explanation:

Characteristics of Qualitative Research.

Findings are judged by whether they make sense and are consistent with the collected data.

Results are validated externally by how well they might be applicable to other situations. This is tough to do; rich, detailed descriptions can help to bolster external validity.

Data is usually collected from small, specific and non-random samples.

Actions of the researcher that can compromise the integrity of the findings:

Intellectual honesty in proposing, performing, and reporting research refers to honesty with respect to the meaning of one's research. It is expected that researchers present proposals and data honestly and communicate their best understanding of the work in writing and verbally.

When a researcher do not exemplify and transmit the values associated with ethical scientific conduct” (NAS, 1995, preface).

why do you think Jim Braddock's winning streak inspired people so much? what makes his story so inspirational even now
sdas [7]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached we can say the following.

I think Jim Braddock's winning streak inspired people so much because he is a good example of endurance, perseveration, and faith when difficult moments make people surrender. In his case, he never surrendered and worked hard to sustain his family during the difficult years of the Great Depression.

Those years of the Great Depression were tough ones. After the US stock market crash of October 219, 1929, millions of Americans lost their jobs, companies broke, and banks went into bankruptcy.

Braddock was a boxer that returned to the ring in 1935, after struggling during those difficult years, and won the championship.

His story is so inspirational even now because is an example of perseveration and endurance under difficult times. It is a history of how a man can overcome adversity if he is committed to doing what he needs to do in order to get what he wants, keeping the faith, and never, ever surrender.
