The personal fable is the adolescent's belief that he or she is highly special and unlike anyone else who has ever walked the earth. Colloquially, these individuals are known as "special snowflakes." In other words, the adolescent thinks that since others are so obviously fascinated by him (adolescent egocentrism), he must be a unique individual.

Unfortunately, the belief can have serious consequences.

In particular, the personal fable can cause a tween or teen to believe that nothing bad could possibly happen to someone as exceptional as herself. In other words, since she's so special, she must be invulnerable.

Some research has shown that belief in the personal fable and one's invulnerability is directly connected to common adolescent risk-taking behaviors, such as promiscuous or unprotected sex, use of alcohol or illicit drugs, as well as physically dangerous acts, such as driving without a license or driving recklessly or while intoxicated.

Belief in the personal fable should not be confused with having high self-esteem. Tweens or teens with low self-esteem usually still hold a version of the personal fable.

Ancient mythological and religious tales often ascribe catastrophic events to the anger of God or the gods. Do you think any of
adoni [48]

Answer:

All catastrophes are Natural event, though God uses them to teach and prove to us, that he is God and we are his subject.

Explanation: Catastrophic events can be called natural disasters, which occurs as a result of some natural reactions, which has taken. For example before a flood can occurs, it means that the sea level is high, or they is poor drainage system in that area. For a volcanoes eruption to occur magma must be formed, when the earth mantle melts. Which rises to the surface of the earth.

Just like the earliest recorded disaster, which is the Eruption of Vesuvius in 79AD, which swiped out the city of Pompeii in Rome , killing about 10,000 people. I don't think any God can have this wish to kill 10,000 persons with just one strike. God is a merciful spirit. The Eruption of Vesuvius happened to Rome, a country that has religion all over they empire, that if this natural disasters is caused by God, he won't want to send just to any empire of Rome.

In the olden days many people believes that lightning and thunder are the weapon of the gods upon the evil ones, to strike them to death. For instance if someone wearing a white garment while it is raining with thunderstorms. When thunder and lightning strikes, the person is likely to be caught with the lighting and shrink to death, people will believe that he is evil and the gods has killed him. With a poor knowledge that lightning captures light or white more easily.

People also thinks that when earthquake happens, then the gods have come to fight the wicked, with out know that this is an event lead by the activities of man to it's environment.

These tribals take shelter from forest and utilize wild edible plants both raw and cooked. The flower and fruits are generally eaten raw where as tubers, leaves and seeds are cooked. Tribals utilize forest produce, forest timber and fuelwood. These tribals are living in forest since ages and have developed a kind of affinity with forests.

India is a country with large ethnic society and has immense wealth due to which it is rich in biodiversity. There are 45,000 species of wild plant out of which 9,500 species are ethnobotanically important species. Of these 7,500 species are in medicinal use for indigenous health practices. About 3,900 plant species are used by tribals as food (out of which 145 species comprise of root and tubers, 521 species of leafy vegetables, 101 species of bulbs and flowers, 647 species of fruits), 525 species are used for fiber, 400 species are used as fodder, 300 species are used in preparation and extraction of chemicals which are used as naturally occurring insecticides and pesticides, 300 species are used for extraction of gum, resins, dyes and perfume (Arora, 2).
