Answer:

To bring reforms under the Catholic church and rejected Protestantism.

Explanation:

The Council of Trent, which lasted from 1545 to 63, issued several proclamations and orders on the RonamCatholic Church on doctrine and practices. The reason for the reform became necessary as the Protestanism was beginning to the widespread in Europe. People in Europe started to change their religion and rejected the Church for their corruption and greed. The Council of Trent decided to improve standards in the Church and banned the sale of false indulgences.

How did women exercise their new freedoms and increased independence after world war 1?
vladimir1956 [14]
When soldiers went away to war their jobs needed to be replaced to keep the economy stable, women were able to take this opportunity and work in factories for munitions and sewing and many other things, this was a big step in the right direction to gender equality, after WW1 people started to change their attitude and realised that women can work and can do just as good as men in some countries they were given the vote and more opportunities opened for women in different industries and they were able to make a living for themselves instead of being reliant on a husband to get money for their whole family
