What hesitations and doubts about imperialism did Americans evince between 1865 and 1898? How did the Spanish-American War chang
nadya68 [22]

Though initially opposed to imperialism, the U.S.’s economy was overproducing due to industrialization where there surpluses to their products. Apart from that, they were searching for other sources of raw materials that they needed for production. Another reason for the change was that some thought that by entering into imperialism, they were continuing America’s vision of Manifest Destiny. The Spanish-American War gave them that opportunity where they acquired Guam, the Philippines and Puerto Rico from the Spaniards.

iren [92.7K]

Incomplete question. But infer you are referring to this completed question;

Clarence invests $200 at the beginning of each quarter in stock ABC.

According to the table below, how many shares of ABC will Clarence own at the end of the year?(For each quarter, assume Clarence buys the maximum amount of stock that he can afford with his $200, and that he cannot buy fractions of stock).

ABC. Stock Price

Q1. $15

Q2. $16

Q3. $13

Q4. $18

Answer:

51

Explanation:

Therefore, amount of share he gets is determine by the studio price for each quarter. (Note that we do not take account of decimals)

For Q1= 200/15= 13

For Q2= 200/16=12

For Q3= 200/13=15

For Q4= 200/18=11

Total=51. Thus, by summing up the number of ABC shares Clearence obtained in each quarter, at the end of the year he would have 51 shares.

Evaluate and explain the costs of Stalin's Five-Year Plan.
Inga [223]

Explanation:

Stalin's First Five-Year Plan, adopted by the party in 1928, called for rapid industrialization of the economy, with an emphasis on heavy industry. It set goals that were unrealistic—a 250 percent increase in overall industrial development and a 330 percent expansion in heavy industry alone.
