What is a futur tense

English
1 answer:
Korolek [52]3 years ago
4 0

Answer:

As with the present and imperfect tenses, a few -er verbs change their spellings slightly in the future tense. The forms with spelling changes have been underlined in the tables.

With verbs such as appeler (meaning to call), which end in -eler, the

l doubles throughout the future tense. The double consonant (ll) affects the pronunciation of the word. In appeler, the first e sounds like the vowel sound at the end of the English word teacher, but in appellerai the first e sounds like the one in the English word pet.

"He who loses his life shall find it." Hyperbole Paradox under-statement Verbal Irony
MArishka [77]

The statement given here is an example of : Paradox.

Explanation:

Paradox is when seemingly incomprehensible and diametrically opposite things are said together in tandem in a sentence to draw out a conflicting meaning out of it.

This is a clear example  of paradox as in the given sentence we can see that there are two conflicts that are irreconcilable in any way.

The person who loses his life cannot find it because finding and losing one's life seems diametrically opposite yet the sentence does make sense in the sense of the rhetoric.
