When RNA is processed in the nucleus and made ready for transfer out into the cytoplasm for protein synthesis, which of the foll
IRISSAK [1]
Answer:
Letter E - exons are cut from the strand and removed

Explanation:

Letter A and B are incorrect because the poly-A tail and guanine cap are added to the 3’ and 5’ end respectively. They aid in translation of the mRNA, while serving as protection. The poly-A tail is repeated adenine nucleotides, while the guanine cap is a modified guanine nucleotide.

Letter C is incorrect because alternative splicing is one mechanism for generating variation, and is thought to be one of the reasons for why humans have smaller genomes than other organisms and still maintain high complexity. Alternative splicing is incredibly important because it produces more than one transcript from a pre-mRNA.

Letter D is incorrect because introns are the non coding portions of the mRNA. They are excised to make a smaller mRNA transcript, and one that contains all the protein genes.

This letter E is the correct answer, because exons are the coding portions of the mRNA, and are not excised during RNA processing.

Hope that helped! If I made a mistake, please let me know.

What is the origin of etiology of asthma
gizmo_the_mogwai [7]
Asthma is a chronic disease of the lung that has been increasing at an alarming rate in industrialized countries around the world over the last few decades. Although considerable progress has been made in our understanding of the underlying pathogenesis of the disease, the exact causes of the increasing prevalence are unknown. Studies suggest that most asthma develops in early childhood and that environmental factors present early in life may be crucial in the development of disease. One potential explanation for the recent epidemic referred to as the "hygiene hypothesis" postulates that factors that have resulted in a reduction in exposure to microbial products and/or infections in the western world may be contributing to this rise in disease prevalence. As early life influences are known to play an important role in establishment of asthma, studies have focused on the interface between mother and child that occurs during gestation and through breastfeeding. In this regard, the body of evidence regarding the relationship between breastfeeding and asthma indicates benefit but with the potential for risk. While providing population-level protection from infections and atopy in infancy and early childhood, breastfeeding might also pose an increased risk of atopic asthma among children with asthmatic mothers.

sergejj [24]
The population will be less as some will die or there are chances of equal also if no one died... Most chances are of 1st one. But it also must be the same or less. Depending on if population growth means just how much it got bigger of if it can be negative (like -8% means it got smaller by 8% and being considered "growth").

Hope this helps!
