I would agree more with the Dubois strategy but both the strategy were equally important  during any time period.

Explanation:

  • Washington’s philosophy of managing the racial inequity was to accept the racial segregation for the time being, make it a reason for the self improvement, make themselves better by concentrating and focusing more on improving themselves through hard work and prosperity.
  • Dubois strategy was also quite similar to the Washington’s, however he believed that getting rid of the racial segregation is the first step to achieve those things in the long term.
