5 0

To find the answer we can find the amount he will get paid separately.

The amount he will get paid on site A:

0.75 x 5

=$3.75

The amount he will get paid on site B:

0.25 x 5

= $1.25

To find the amount Joe get paid at site A than at site B, we can deduct the amount he get from site B by the amount he get from site A:

= 3.75 - 1.25

= $2.50

Therefore $2.50 is the answer.

Hope it helps!

Let f(x)=8x+5 and g(x)=9x-2. find the function.<br>f - g<br>(f - g) (x) =<br>find the domain.

Actually Welcome to the Concept of the Functions.

So here to get the (f-g) (x) , we do the subtraction of the two functions now,

==> 8x + 5 - (9x -2)

===> 8x + 5 -9x +2

===> 8x - 9x +7

==> -x + 7

hence the new function (f-g) (x) = 7 - x

and the domain is from (- infinite to + infinite)

domain = (  -  \infty  \: to \:  \infty )

Would appreciate the help! And would like the steps to the problem, please! And please don't give wrong or non-helpful answers!
Doss [256]
Okay so you’re trying to get them to add up to 540 degrees.

On one side of the equation, have this, and on the other, add up your degrees on the shape.

(3x)+(10x-8)+(5x-12)+(120)+(2x)=540

Start by combining like terms on the left side.

20x+100=540
-100 -100
___________
20x=440
—— ——
20 20
x=22
(On this step, I was just solving and isolating the variable.)

Hope this helps!!

The given table of values represents a linear equation. What is the slope?
Mrac [35]

Answer:

C. 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula for slope is given as m = {y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1}

The coordinates of any two points can be used in this formula. Let's use, (1, 5) and (2, 8).

Let,

(1, 5) = (x_1, y_1)

(2, 8) = (x_2, y_2)

Plug the values into the formula:

m = {8 - 5}{2 - 1}

m = {3}{1}

m = 3
