Easy, it says "for ANY positive integer" so just test any positive integer

remember that n! means times all integers from 1 to that number n

lets try 1

(1+1)!/(1!)-1=
(2!)/(1!)-1=
2/1-1=
2-1=
1

if you don't believe me, try 2
(2+1)!/(2!)-2=
(3!)/(2!)-2=
(6)/(2)-2=
3-2=
1

te answer is 1, B

and number 9
easy, remember the exponential law
(x^m)(x^n)=x^(m+n)
jsut add the exponents
first gropu like bases
(r^2r^2/3)(t^1/2t^-3/2)
add bases
(r^2 and 2/3)(t^-1)=
(r^2∛(r^2))(1/t)=
\frac{r^{2} \sqrt[3]{r^{2}} }{t}

On a zip-line course, you are harnessed to a cable that travels through the treetops. You start at platform A and zip to each o
Shalnov [3]

Answer:

We have to travel 26.93 units from platform B to C.

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of a segment having coordinates (x_1,y_1) and (x_2,y_2) is determined by the formula,

d=\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}

From the graph attached,

Coordinates of the points B and C are (-25, -20) and (-15, 5) respectively.

Distance between these points B and C Or length of BC will be,

BC = \sqrt{(-25+15)^2+(-20-5)^2}

     = \sqrt{100+625}

     = \sqrt{725}

     = 5\sqrt{29}

     = 26.93 units

Therefore, we have to travel 26.93 units from platform B to C.

The quotient of a number x and 4 is at most 5. An inequality is?
Shalnov [3]

Answer:

The inequality can be represented as:

\frac{x}{4}\leq5

Solution for the inequality:

x\leq20

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

The quotient of a number x and 4 is at most 5.

To write an inequality for the given statement.

Solution:

The quotient of two variables a and b can be represented as : \frac{a}{b}

Thus the quotient of the number x and 4 can be represented as:

⇒  \frac{x}{4}

The quotient is at most 5 which means it is less than or equal to 5.

Therefore, the inequality can be represented as:

\frac{x}{4}\leq5

<em>Solving for</em> x.

Multiplying both sides with 4.

4\times \frac{x}{4}\leq5\times 4

x\leq20

Thus, the number must be at most 20.
