What role does calcium play in muscle contraction?
CaHeK987 [17]
The calcium ions then flow into the cytoplasm and bind to the troponin and tropomyosin molecules in the actin filaments of the muscle cells. The binding of calcium allows the troponin to change shape and expose the actin-myosin binding site. this is from this site:https://www.reference.com/science/role-calcium-muscle-contractions-e42334f57f1a7187

write a short essay on what you have learned about communication that surprised or had an impact on you
serious [3.7K]
I learned many things about communication there are many’s types of it and many ways how to do it. The first thing that surprised me is when I was 4 I was surprised when you can communicate on a device like texting I know I know. Now I learned many types of communication like angry, happy, sad, and much more which I find pretty cool for some reason. Now you can do communication in so many ways like art, devices, mails, or just talking to someone. Communication made a big impact on me is because without out I wouldn’t be able to talk and text or anything. I would just be confused. Communication is really important to our world like we can learn new languages or new stuff like when your on zoom and your teacher ask you a question you communicate to answer. This is my essay and none of it was from google hope you enjoy and I hope this helps :)

Taxol is an anticancer drug extracted from the Pacific yew tree. In animal cells, Taxol disrupts microtubule formation by bindin
WARRIOR [948]

Answer:

The correct answer will be mitotic spindle formation.

Explanation:

Mitosis is a mode of cell division which is a very complex process. The mitosis includes the microtubules which form the mitotic spindles during cell divisions.

The mitotic spindle helps the separation of the chromatids through tread-milling during anaphase and telophase, The mitotic spindle formation can be inhibited by an anticancer drug called taxol which interfere with the formation by binding to tubulin and preventing compaction of the microtubules,

Thus, mitotic spindle formation is the correct answer.
