His GPA should be 3.2 since a B in a app class would count as a A so it was be 4+4+4=12 and then Spanish is 3 and a D is one so it would be 4+4+4+3+1=16 and then divided by the number of classes he has so 16/5= 3.2 I say just go with B it’s the closest

8. Misty created the number pattern below. 32, 28, 24, 20, ... If n represents a number in this pattern, which rule could be use
geniusboy [140]

Answer:

An = 32 - (4*(n-1))

Step-by-step explanation:

the starting term for this pattern is 32 (which you will need to include in the "rule")

you also know that the next term is the previous term - 4

so!

we can write this pattern as

An = 32 - (4*(n-1))

An = any number of term in the pattern

- ex). A2 = 28, A3 = 24, etc

n = the nth term

- the 3rd term = 24, the fourth term = 20, etc

Solve for d: 0.5(2d-6)=0.2(4x-10)
Law Incorporation [45]

Answer:d=0.8x+1

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve 0.5(2d-6)=0.2(4x-10)

Open the brackets

We get

d-3=0.8x-2

To make d the subject of formular

Find the volume V of the solid obtained by rotating the region bounded by the given curves about the specified line. Only 1 try
vagabundo [1.1K]

Using the shell method, the volume is

\displaystyle 2\pi \int_0^1 (2-x) \cdot 8x^3 \, dx = 16\pi \int_0^1 (2x^3 - x^4) \, dx

Each cylindrical shell has radius 2-x (the horizontal distance from the axis of revolution to the curve y=8x^3); has height 8x^3 (the vertical distance between a point on the x-axis in 0\le x\le1 and the curve y=8x^3).

Compute the integral.

\displaystyle 16 \pi \int_0^1 (2x^3 - x^4) \, dx = 16\pi \left(\frac{x^4}2 - \frac{x^5}5\right) \bigg|_{x=0}^{x=1} \\\\ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ = 16\pi \left(\frac12 - \frac15\right) \\\\ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ = \frac{24}5\pi = \boxed{4.8\pi}
