Answer:

Resocialization is particularly severe when individuals are severed from their previous relations with society, and their former identities are stripped away.

E: Entry into a total institution would lead to this more dramatic form of resocialization

Explanation:

Resocialization is a process in which one is taught new customs, rules, and traditions that would help them transit from one social role to another. It mainly takes place in single parent households or military boot-camps. This is done intensely by cutting off the people from the outside community/world for a given time, i.e. by total institution.

The goal of total institutions is resocialization. It brings in changes in the personalities of people by purposely controlling their environment. Another example of resocialization is re-socializing newly hired into the military so that they can work as soldiers. So, option E is the correct answer.

2. Depine dowry, tradition and explain how
Leona [35]

\huge \boxed{\mathfrak{Question} \downarrow}

 • Define dowry, tradition and explain how it degenerated into demand and bargain of money for marriage.

\huge \boxed{\mathfrak{Answer} \downarrow}

Dowry is the money (it can come in the form of money, cars, buildings, expensive gems etc.) you give to the bridegroom's family as a gift for marrying the bride. This tradition started a long time back but still continues. It was originally given as a sign of happiness & extreme gratefulness. However, now dowry is sometimes demanded by the groom's family & the women are bargained for money. They threaten to hurt or not marry the woman if they don't receive enough money. This has lead to immense disputes by feminists. Now the act of dowry is illegal & prohibited in many countries. But, it still takes place between many families. It's been high time since dowry should be stopped & people realize that women are more than just mere & poor maidens.

As human beings we are envisioning of good life and that we always are looking forward of the goals to attain the good life we are dreaming of. But there comes the best enemy of all, our brains. The question is how to tap that full potential of our brains to achieve such goals? After attending and listening motivational talks, there were common things I have come up with how to unleash that unlimited potential of our brains to be successful. First, you must be planning ahead and write down on a piece of paper may it be a long-term or short-term goal; you need to make a visible plan that will keep you reminded each day in order for you to keep on track. Next, do not make that plan just a plan work for it and make it happen. List steps on how to start your plans. Most importantly, change your mindset and make it creative. Mostly, the once that hinders our achievements is our brain. We often think of our limits instead of thinking how far we can go. Just as what Albert Einstein said, “Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.” So don’t limit your brain and be creative in facing circumstances to unlock your goals.
