The regulation bases are 50% further apart than the girls softball diamond bases. The girls softball diamond bases are 60ft, so if you take 50% of that (half of it), which is 30 feet, and add that to the 60, that becomes 90ft. There's your answer. Another way of looking at it is to say that 60ft is one whole, and that added 50% is a half. So, the regular diamond bases are 1.5 times further from each other. 60×1.5 = 90.

Gemiola [76]

Answer:

the solution for x will be given by  {x| -13 < x < 13}

Therefore the correct option is B.

Step-by-step explanation:

i) given that |x| < 13

ii) therefore x < 13 for positive values of x

iii) for negative values of x we have -x < 13

    therefore x > -13

iv) from ii) and iii) above we can conclude that the solution for x will be given by {x| -13 < x < 13}

Therefore the correct option is B.

lesya [120]

Answer: 36

Step-by-step explanation:

\overline{AB} \cong \overline{BC} (Triangle ABC is isosceles)

m\angle CAB=m\angle CBA=30^{\circ} (base angles of an isosceles triangle are congruent)

\angle MCB=90^{\circ} (In triangle CMB, angles in a triangle add to 180 degrees)

\angle ACM=30^{\circ} (triangle sum theorem)

MB=24 (30-60-90 triangle CMB)

AB=12 (sides opposite congruent angles in a triangle are congruent)

AB=36 (segment addition postulate)

Will mark brainliest and 15 points
defon

Step-by-step explanation:

x + y = 9. => 2x + 2y = 18.

2x + 2y = 18

- (2x - 3y = -12)

=> 5y = 30, y = 6.

Therefore x + (6) = 9, x = 3.

The solution is x = 3 and y = 6.
