Because 60 seconds= 1 minute and then 120 seconds=2 minutes, u multiply 10 ×12 to get to 120 seconds and then u multiply 4×12 which equals the answer which is 48.

Hey there,
2 min = 60 x 2
          = 120 seconds
10 seconds = 4 breaths
1 second = 4 / 10
               = 0.4
120 seconds = 0.4 x 120
                     = 48 breaths

Hope this helps :))
