Last I checked it was divide 2 from 40, 3 times to get the answer of 5 and then divide 16 the same amount of times for the answer of 2

Now standard deviation = √((∑x_{i} -x)^{2}/N)

= \sqrt{\frac{0.34781}{10} }

= 0.1865

Therefore, for the given sample, mean = 1.307 and standard deviation = 0.1865.
