HELP PLEASE HURRY!!!! Is it fair to restrict people's ability to work based on their age? Why or why not? Justify your answer.
7nadin3 [17]
Yes, it is fair. Younger people (Below 18) need to focus more on school. Work can take their attention off of school. And without school they wont be able to get a better job. Plus younger people can only work part time due to child labor. Most workers below 18 also have parents  that's job is to feed and care for them, which means they do not even need to work until they are over 18. most people that work under the age of 18 is just for the fact of having money, not because they need it to live.

What total unrealized holding gain would beresford report in its 2021 income statement relative to its investments in bonds?
Airida [17]

Total unrealized holding gain would Beresford report in its 2021 income statement relative to its investments in bonds is $36,600.

Unrealized holding gains are increases in the value of assets that a company or individual continues to hold.

This gain has not yet been reported on the entity's income statement as a realized gain.

The gain is considered realized once the asset is sold.

Assets are frequently held even after a gain in value has occurred, either because the owner expects another gain or because the owner does not want to pay taxes on the gain.

Therefore, total unrealized holding gain is the difference between the fair value of trading securities on 12/31/2021 and at 12/31/2020.

For the figures used refer to the attached image.

total unrealized holding gain = (76000 - 65000) + (98100 - 67000) + (58500 - 64000)

                                            = 11000 + 31100 - 5500

                                            = $36,600

Hence, the correct answer is $36,600.

NARA [144]

Answer:

lower the prices of imported components

Explanation:

In simple words, Job outsourcing allows American businesses to compete more effectively in the international economy. It enables them to advertise to international markets through their abroad operations. They keep labor costs cheap by recruiting in developing countries with poorer living conditions.  As a result, the pricing of the items they send back to the United States are lower.
