A. It is an experiment as the sales director is applying treatment ( the training ) to a group and recording the results.

B. I would have 250 sales representatives from each region take the training and 250 from each region to not take it so i can be able to see if it affects both regions differently. The representatives from each region would be chosen at random and the length of their training would be the same for all.

C. now you would only be able to have 200 people from each region train. this would lower the percentage of the impact the training had on the amount of sales ( if any) . For example, if the original 250 trained people in a region increased the sales in that region by 20 percent and 50 of those people ended up not actually training, the sales would have only increased by 16 percent.

D. correlational research is best to establish causality. for example, the amount of training the representatives got may affect how much they are able to sell. also the number of representatives trained may affect the amount sold

(2+(-3)(5))(3+2(-6)) using order of operations
joja [24]

Answer:

117

Step-by-step explanation:

First, parenthesis comes first, so let's look at the first group first. After parenthesis, you should solve exponents, but there are none in this example so we'll skip that part. The next step is multiplication. If you look in (2+(-3)(5)), there is multiplication; (-3)(5). When you multiply these 2 values out, you'll get -15. But don't forget about the +2 at the beginning of the parenthesis!! When you add 2 to the the -15 we just got, you'll get -13. Moving on to the 2nd parenthesis, there is also a multiplication application of (2)(-6). When you multiply this, you get -12. But there's still the +3. If you add -12 and 3, you get -9. Now, you have to multiply your answers from both groups of parentheses together. The 2 values are -13 and -9. When you multiply these 2 together, you get 117 because the two negatives cancel each other out.

Of all college degrees awarded in the United States, including masters and doctorate degrees, 26 % are associate degrees, 40 % a
Katena32 [7]

Answer:

0.385 is the required conditional probability.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following in the question:

Percentage of associated degree = 26%

P(A)=26\%=0.26

Percentage of degrees earned by men = 40%

P(M)=40\%=0.4

Percentage of associate degrees earned by men = 10%

P(A\cap M) = 10\% = 0.10

We have to evaluate the conditional property that a degree is earned by a man, given that it is an associate degree.

P(M|A) = \dfrac{P(M\cap A)}{P(A)} = \dfrac{0.1}{0.26} = 0.385

0.385 is the conditional probability that a degree is earned by a man, given that it is an associate degree.
