Need help please. I don't think this is dimensionally correct however I want to be sure. Please check if s = (2)(u+v)t^2 is dime

nsionally correct. u and v are velocities, s is distance, t is time. Thanks

Your equation is not dimensionally consistent.

Let L = length and T = time. Without taking into account precise units, you can write velocity as the ratio between some distance L and some time T.

So in terms of these fundamental quantities, your equation can be written as

L = (L/T + L/T)T^2

L = (L + L)T

L = LT

Find the equation of a line passing through (3, -5) that is parallel to 2x + 6y =10
PtichkaEL [24]

Answer:

The equation of the line would be y = -1/3x - 4

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find this, we first need to find the slope of the original line. We do this by solving for y.

2x + 6y = 10

6y = -2x + 10

y = -1/3x + 5/3

Now that we see the slope as -1/3, we know the new line will have the same slope thanks to the definition of parallel lines. So, we can use this slope and the point in point-slope form to find the equation.

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

y - -5 = -1/3(x - 3)

y + 5 = -1/3x + 1

y = -1/3x - 4

Carl earned grades of 62 78 59 and 89 what is the mean of his grades
stira [4]

Answer:

72

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

Carl grades = x = 62, 78, 59, 89

Number of grades, N = 4

Mean of Carl's grade = sum of x / number of grades,N

= (62 + 78 + 59 + 89) / 4

= 288/4

= 72

Therefore, mean of Carl's grade = 72
