1 Why is the unit of pressure caled a derved unit?

Physics

Pressure = (force) divided by (area)

But force and area are both derived units themselves.

-- Force = (mass) times (acceleration)

But acceleration is a derived unit itself.

Acceleration = (length) divided by (time squared)

So force = (mass) · (length / time squared)

-- Area = (length squared)

So pressure = (mass · length / time-squared) / (length-squared)

Pressure = (mass) / (length · time-squared)

That sure looks to me like it's derived from a bunch of other stuff.

what would happen to the simple circuit if an additional wire were added to the circuit to connect the terminals of the bulb to
lilavasa [31]

As current increases, the wires heat which can cause a fuse to blow or a circuit breaker to trip. As additional branches are added to a parallel circuit, the overall resistance of the circuit decreases. A decrease in resistance creates an increase in current.

What is a Simple circuit ?

A battery (or other energy source), a light bulb (or other energy-consuming device), and conducting wires that connect the two terminals of the battery to the two ends of the light bulb make up a simple electric circuit.

 • Three elements make up an electric circuit: a power source, such as a battery or the mains. a lightbulb-like energy receiver an energy conduit, such as a wire

A long solenoid (1000 turns/m) carries a current of 25 mA and has an inside radius of 2.0 cm. A long wire which is parallel to a
vampirchik [111]

Answer:

B = 0.031T

Explanation:

Given n1 = 1000turn/m

i1 = 25A

μo = 4π ×10‐⁷ Wb/A•m

B1 = μo×i1×n1

B1 = 4π ×10‐⁷ × 25 × 1000 = 0.031T.
