<u>RICE for treating physical injuries: </u>

“RICE – Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation”

After an injury (knee or ankle sprain) the pain and swelling can be relieved and wound can be made flexible and healed.

<u>Rest:</u> Need to take rest and protect the injured area.

<u>Ice: </u>By applying cold ice pack will reduce pain and swelling.  

<u>Compression:</u> Need to wrap the injured area with an elastic bandage will compress the wound and reduce swelling.

<u>Elevation:</u> Need to place the injured area at a height (above the heart level) which helps in minimizing the swelling.

You can... Chronic Kidney Diseases doesn't't mess heavily with overall blood composition, neither does spread between people or is dangerous to donate. There are several instances where one may not donate blood; blood transmitted disease like HIV or Syphilis, or a clotting factor deficiency, which is hemophilia, which while not exactly anything to worry about bloodwise, is much more dangerous to the person donating it, as without proper equipment or medication, a patient can bleed out.
