Calculate the mean kinetic energy {e1rans) in joules of the following molecules at 350 k: (a) he, (b) co2, and (c) uf6. explain
Lady bird [3.3K]

The mean kinetic energy per molecule is , where is the Boltzmann constant and T is the absolute temperature.

So at 1000°C, the T = 1273.15 K, kB=1.38 × 10-23, therefore the mean kinetic energy is 2.635 × 10⁻²⁰J.

What is Kinetic energy ?

The energy an item has as a result of motion is known as kinetic energy.

A force must be applied to an item in order to accelerate it. We must put forth effort in order to apply a force. After the job is finished, energy is transferred to the item, which then moves at a new, constant speed. Kinetic energy is the type of energy that is transmitted and is dependent on the mass and speed attained.

Kinetic energy may be converted into other types of energy and transported between things. A flying squirrel may run into a chipmunk that is standing still, for instance. Some of the squirrel's original kinetic energy may have been transferred to the chipmunk or changed into another kind of energy after the impact.

What are some natural measures of time
Len [333]

most events like the rising and setting of the Sun were used a natural measurement of time until recently.

Solar time, which is based on the motion of the Sun, is not the only way of measuring time, however. One might keep track of the regular appearance of the full Moon. That event occurs once about every 29.5 solar days. The time between appearances of new moons, then, could be used to define a month.

One also can use the position of the stars for measuring time. The system is the same as that used for the Sun, since the Sun itself is a star. All other stars also rise and set on a regular basis.

Although any one of these systems is a satisfactory method for measuring some unit of time, such as a day or a month, the systems may conflict with each other. It is not possible, for example, to fit 365 solar days into 12 or 13 lunar months exactly. This problem creates the need for leap years

How many moles are in an 11mL solution of NaOh and KHP (C8H4O4)
zalisa [80]

Answer:

Calculate the molar concentration of the NaOH solution that you prepared Number of moles of KHP = Number of moles NaOH = 2.476 x 10 -3 moles Number of moles NaOH = Mb x Vb Mb = 2.476 x 10 -3 moles / 0.0250 L (equivalence point) = 0.0990 M 3

Which of the following pollutants could be reduced through proper maintenance and area ventilation to improve human health?
azamat

Answer:

Chimney soot

Explanation:

 • The periodicity of chimney used in homes is very highly harmful to human health.
 • If proper maintenance and cleanliness and ventilation are taken care of on such organic compounds, it can also control human health.
 • Carbon compounds form chimneys are highly harmful to human health if timber or coal-fired black chimney soot can be disposed of from time to time and with constant maintenance we can control pollution.
