Answer:

9 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

If two figures are similar, then the ratio of its corresponding sides is proportional

so

\frac{YZ}{EF}=\frac{XY}{DE}

substitute the given values

\frac{YZ}{6}=\frac{15}{10}

solve for YZ

YZ=6(15)/10\\YZ=9\ cm

I think the first answer is x > 4, but I'm not sure, I need help with that. I don't know if there even is a second answer or
STALIN [3.7K]
Hi again!

|2x - 3| - 1 > 4

|2x -3| > 4 + 1

|2x -3|  > 5

Now let's solve the absolute value

We know either 2x -3 >5 or 2x -3<-5

Let's solve the first possibility

2x - 3 > 5

2x > 5+ 3

2x > 8

x > 8/2

x> 4

Now solve the second possibility

2x - 3 < -5

2x < -5 + 3

2x < -2

x < -2/2

x< -1

Thus the correct answer is x > 4 or x < -1

I used an online graphing calculator

I hope this helps again!

Marlon bought 7/8 pound of turkey at the deli. He used 2/3 of it to make sandwiches for lunch. How much of the turkey did marlon
Dafna1 [17]
The answer is in the question. The question says he used 2/3 of it to make sandwiches. Unless your asking what 2/3 of 7/8 is then the answer would be 7/12.
you just multiply the top numbers together and the bottom numbers together and then reduce.

I do not understand this math problem I have to do. It is 32-6x=20 and I need to find the variable but it's too confusing for me
sineoko [7]

Answer:

The answer to your question x=2.

Step-by-step explanation: So, first you simplify both sides of the equation which, would look like this after, -6x+32=20. After that, you subtract 32 from both sides which will look like this after -6x=-12. Then you would divide each side by -6 which will get x=2. Hope this helps!
