Longitude and latitude are used as coordinates to find places on the Earth without having to use a name. (Say, perhaps you're in the ocean and there's nothing that can be referenced)

It's similar to using x and y coordinates to locate points on a 2D plane in math, except the grid is wrapped around the Earth.

Longitude is vertical and measures how far left or right you are (from the prime meridian)
Latitude is horizontal and measures how far up or down you are (from the poles/equator)

The nurse reviews the client's initial complaint that her feet feel numb. which assessment should the nurse perform first?
Ratling [72]

Physicians and nurses both have a significant contribution in looking through the health assessment of the patient.

Some nurses have a care setting role meanwhile some practice in detailed and comprehensive roles as a practitioner. Under this scenario, if a person’s feet feel numb;

  • The first assessment that the nurse would follow is to obtain baseline data on the age and gender of the patient.
  • Secondly, there would be a comprehensive study on the history of the patient health (pregnant, infant, etc.).
  • Thirdly, the nurse will make an abbreviated assessment. A slight inspection would be followed by specialized technicians or ultrasonic specialists.

If the numbing and swelling go in the direction of lymphatic vessel dysfunction, the nurse will instantly inform the physician regarding the patient health.

Artemon [7]

The career and work path the person wants to follow defines the individual as vocational/career identity.

As a result of occupational and self-exploration and dedication moulded by personal traits and social context throughout childhood and adolescence, vocational identity goes through a series of developmental modifications.

In Stage III of the demographic transition, A. the birth rate and the death rate are both relatively low and the population stab
UkoKoshka [18]

Answer:

A. the birth rate and the death rate are both relatively low and the population stabilizes

Explanation:

The Demographic Transition

This is simply defined as the general way of demographic change usually occuring fro. high birth and death rates to low birth and death rates, and it is said to be observed in the history of developed countries.

Stages of Demographic Transition

Stage 1 of the Demographic Transition Model (DTM)

In this stage, there is present to be a low population growth rate due to a high birth rate that is the number of annual births per one thousand people and a high death rate simply the number of annual deaths per one thousand people.

Stage 2 of the Demographic Transition Model (DTM)

This stage consists of a fast lowering or decrease in a country's death rate, meanwhile, the birth rate remains high. Leading to the total population of a country in Stage 2 rising because births outnumber deaths and simply not because the birth rate is rising.

In Stage 3 of the Demographic Transition Model (DTM)

In this stage, death rates are relatively low and birth rates decrease.

This result in this stage occurs due to improved economic conditions, an increase in women's status and education, and access to contraception etc.

STAGE 4- usually regarded as post Industrial

This includes birth rate droping below replacement level and tthe size of the population begins to decrease also.
