Answer:

The spiritual beliefs of the Five Tribes were that there were three worlds in the universe. There was the upper world, which was inhabited by gods and celestial bodies, like stars, moon, and sun; the underworld, inhabited by monsters and witches; and then this world, the one world in which we live. They also believed that all these worlds lived together harmony, that there was a harmonious living to the universe, that among all creatures and spiritual beings, there was harmony. Everything existed for a reason. And everything had a purpose. Even bad things are supposed to be in the world because they have a role to play.

Answer:

Responses may vary but should include some or all of the following information: First, the Southeast Indians shared similar religious beliefs. Each group believed that the universe has three distinct parts, and their beliefs centered on a pursuit of harmony and balance. The tribes also shared similar social structures, as heritage was passed down in a matrilineal fashion. Tribes participated in similar ceremonies for marrying couples and celebrating relationships. Third, tribes shared forms of government; each tribe was ruled by a chiefdom that elected a leader. Finally, the tribes focused on similar economic activities. Tribes bartered in order to trade goods, and men and women had traditional roles in the economy.

Compare and contrast how each of the six approaches of psychology understands the nature of the human being.
olga nikolaevna [1]

Answer:

There are various approaches in contemporary psychology.

An approach is a perspective (i.e., view) that involves certain assumptions (i.e., beliefs) about human behavior: the way they function, which aspects of them are worthy of study and what research methods are appropriate for undertaking this study.

There may be several different theories within an approach, but they all share these common assumptions.

The five major perspectives in psychology are biological, psychodynamic, behavioral, cognitive and humanistic.

You may wonder why there are so many different psychology approaches and whether one approach is correct and others wrong.

Most psychologists would agree that no one approach is correct, although in the past, in the early days of psychology, the behaviorist would have said their perspective was the only truly scientific one.

Each approach has its strengths and weaknesses, and brings something different to our understanding of human behavior. For this reason, it is important that psychology does have different perspectives on the understanding and study of human and animal behavior.

Why did the British abandon Boston in early 1776?
Yanka [14]
The British abandoned Boston in early 1776 because they were forced out of the country by the American soldiers.
American Revolutionary War was at large, and the Patriots, led by general Washington (who later became the first president of USA) won the battle at Boston, which was bloodless, by the way. This brought an end to an eight-year British occupation of the city.

What are some potential benefits and potential costs of total war, and do the potential benefits ever outweigh the costs?
OlgaM077 [116]

There are huge loss of life and property in a total cost.

Explanation:

The concept of " cost war" means that there are no limits in that war. Anyone can be attacked in that war and there is no restriction on the type of weapon also that is to be used in that war.

So the benefits of such a war can not be any but there can be only cost of the war because it can only lead to the harm of the life and property of the people who are involved in that total war. Benefits never out weigh the costs.
