The Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay are the two bodies of water where Maryland and Virginia share. Both of them are marked as the border of both states.

EXPLANATION:

Maryland is a state in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States, neighboring Pennsylvania in the north; West Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Virginia in the west and south; and Delaware in the east. The largest city in the state is Baltimore, and the capital city is Annapolis. Among the special nicknames are the Free State, Old Line State, and Chesapeake Bay State.

Maryland is named after the British queen, Henrietta Maria. Maryland has various topographies in its borders, giving to its nickname America in Miniature. It reaches from the dunes decorated with seagrass to the east to the low swamps full of wildlife and large bald cypresses near the Chesapeake Bay, to the gentle hills of oak forests in the Piedmont Territory, and pine forests in the mountains of Maryland to the west.

Virginia is surrounded by Washington, D.C. and Maryland in the east and north; by North Carolina to the south; by the Atlantic Ocean to the east; by Kentucky to the west; by Tennessee to the southwest; and by West Virginia to the north and west. Virginia's border with Washington, D.C., and Maryland spreads to the low-water spot on the southern coast of the Potomac River. The southern border is classified as 36 ° 30 parallel north, although surveyor error in the 1700s caused abnormalities of three arcminutes.

Tennessee together with Virginia selected a commission in 1803 to improve their borders. In 1871, Virginia tried to select a new survey commission, but Tennessee demanded, and their court case was determined by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1893 to support the line agreed in 1803. One result was the division of Bristol between the two states.

Would you change places with a Native American in the 1500s? Why?
vitfil [10]

Answer: No

Explanation: Because living in the 20th century has great things that the 1500s didn't have like technology. In the 1500s the Native Americas rapidly declined as well.According to Noble David Cook, a community of scholars has recently, albeit slowly, "been quietly accumulating piece by piece data on early epidemics in the Americas and their relation to the subjugation of native peoples."
