Find the tenth term in the sequence. First, I need the sequence generator. Then, I want an equation. (Should be T(N) = MN + B if

arithmetic sequence generator. Should be T(N) = BM^N if geometric.) The N is 10, hence why I need the tenth term. I don't need 10 subbed for N, because I can work out the equation, but if you want to do it, feel free.

Answer:

These numbers are the Powers of Two

Beginning with term #1 = 2, the next term is always 2 times the PRECEDING term.

Second term is two squared, or 2 times 2, namely four.

Third term, multiply that four by two, giving eight, also known as two cubed.

Fourth term is twice as much, namely sixteen.

Just keep on doubling!

Find the lengths of g, h, and j. Round answers to the nearest tenth. (marking brainliest for correct)
Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

j=13, g=20.8, h=24

Step-by-step explanation:

The overall shape given and the shape within, are both right triangles. With right triangles, you are allowed to use the pythagorean theorem formula (a^{2} + b^{2} = c^{2}) in order to solve for some sides. In this case, that would be j and h. The five in the smaller triangle is represented by b and the 12 is the hypotenuse so it is represented by c. When you plug in those numbers in the pythagorean theorem formula, you will find the value of j to be 13. When looking at this, we see that 12 is the second greatest value in the right triangle values that we just found, so we know the the opposing angle for that one will be 60 degrees. The 5's opposing side is therefore 30 degrees. When subtracting 90 and 30, we get 60, so therefore you can use the 30 60 90 formula to find the sides of the bigger triangle. The 60 degrees represents g. This formula will be a\sqrt{3}. The a is 12 since it is the smallest value. So therefore, g is 12\sqrt{3}, which is 20.8. Now that we have this side, we can just use the pythagorean theorem formula to find the remaining side. Therefore, h is going to be 24

MrRa [10]

Answer: 24 square units

Step-by-step explanation:

It appears the shaded area of the rectangle is half of the rectangle's area. This means if we find the area of the rectangle and divide it by 2 we will know the area of the shaded portion.

The formula for the area of a rectangle is lw=A

Where

l is the length (8 for this)

w is the width (6 for this)

A is the area

However, since we are finding half the area we will divide lw by 2

Sub the values into the formula

\frac{lw}{2} =A\\\frac{(8)(6)}{2} =A\\\frac{48}{2} =A\\24=A

A triangle has sides of length 5, 8, and 10. What is the measure of its largest angle?
masha68 [24]
We'll use the Law of Cosines
We'll call
side a = length 5
side b = length 8
side c = length 10
and their corresponding angles as A, B and C
"C" would be the largest angle
cos (C) = (a^2 + b^2 - c^2) / 2 * a * b
cos (C) = (5^2 + 8^2 - 10^2) / 2 * 5 * 8
cos (C) = 25 + 64 -100 / 80
cos (C) = -11 / 80
cos (C) = <span> <span> <span> -0.1375 </span> </span> </span>
arc cosine ( <span> <span> <span> -0.1375 </span> </span> </span> ) = 97.903 Degrees
The largest angle is 97.903 Degrees
