Adding up the frequency column, we get 31 (an odd number).  Thus, the median of the entire set is the middle element, and there are 15 temperature measurements on each side of the median (31).  15 being an odd number is the reason that the median of the first 15 numbers is the 7th member.  In other words, the first quartile is the 7th member of the entire set, which includes temperatures 50-59 and 60-69.  The first quartile would include 5 measurerments in the 50-59 range and two measurements in the 60-69 range.  Thus, the "lower quartile median" (which is the 1st quartile) is in the interval 60-69 (answer)

Find x.......................................................
lidiya [134]

Answer:

{10}^{2} + {y}^{2} = {26}^{2} \\ 100 + {y}^{2} = 676 \\ {y}^{2} = 676 - 100 \\ {y}^{2} = 576 \\ y = \sqrt{576} \\ y = 24

{24}^{2} + {x}^{2} = {30}^{2} \\ 576 + {x}^{2} = 900 \\ {x}^{2} = 900 - 576 \\ {x}^{2} = 324 \\ x = \sqrt{324} \\ x = 18

Which are differences of perfect cubes? Check all that apply.
Kryger [21]
We are to determine if the given are differences of perfect cubes and in order to do so, we simply have to calculate for the cube root of the terms in the given.

(a)   9a³ - 27 = ((∛9)a)³ - 3³   ; NO
(b)   125a¹² - 72 = (5a⁴)³ - (∛72)³ ; NO
(c)   216a⁶ - 27y³ = (6a²)³ - (3y)³ ; YES
(d)   8a¹⁵ - 27 = (2a⁵)³ - (3)³ ; YES
(e)   225a³ - 216 = (15a)³ - (6)³  ; YES

Therefore, the answers are the third, fourth, and fifth choices.

304,056 trying to represent the value of this number using expanded notation we give the answer but is giving us an error so we
Rina8888 [55]

Answer:

(3 * 100,000) + (0 * 10,000) + (4 * 1000) + (0 * 100) + (5 * 10) + (6 * 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

We want to represent the value of this number using expanded notation

Mathematically, that will be;

(3 * 100,000) + (0 * 10,000) + (4 * 1000) + (0 * 100) + (5 * 10) + (6 * 1)

= 300,000 + 0 + 4000 + 0 + 50 + 6

= 304,057
