Answer:

r=4.51 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of a circle is given by

A=\pi r^{2} where A is area and r is the radius. Making r the subject of the above formula then

r=\sqrt {\frac {A}{\pi}}

Substituting A with 64 then

r=\sqrt {\frac {64}{\pi}}\approx 4.51 ft

If F(x) and G(x) are two functions such that F(G(x)) = x then F(x) and G(x) are ..?
lana [24]
They are inverse functions though to be completely thorough your teacher should have also put g(f(x)) = x as well. Though I can see what your teacher is aiming for at least.

The idea is that whatever the output of g(x) is, it's plugged into f(x) and the initial input is the result. So g(x) takes a step forward and f(x) takes a step back undoing everything g(x) did. Which is exactly what an inverse operation does.

What is the y-intercept of the line represented by y = 4x?
Brut [27]

Answer: 0

Step-by-step explanation: In order to identify the <em>y-intercept</em> of this equation, we want to get this equation into slope-intercept form which is more commonly known as y = mx + b form.

The problem is our equation doesn't match up quite so well with the formula y = mx + b. Our slope or <em>m</em> which is represented by the coefficient of the <em>x</em> <em>term</em> is clearly +4 but what is our y-intercept or b?

Well y = 4x can be thought of as y = 4x + 0 so you can see that our b or y-intercept equals 0.

yarga [219]

Answer:

(x-5)^2+(y-2)^2=9\\

Step-by-step explanation:

So, you basically want the equation of the circle.

Given:

Center(C): C(5, 2)

r=3

The equation of circle is:

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2\\

Where, (h, k) represents the center point and r is the radius of the circle.

Plotting the values in the equation:

(x-5)^2+(y-2)^2=3^2\\

(x-5)^2+(y-2)^2=9\\

This is the equation of the circle of center (5, 2) and radius 3.
