Bacteria are important in the soil to maintain the nitrogen cycle. Certain type of bacterais help in nitrogen fixation. They also decompose dead and decaying matter into nitrogen compounds such as ammonia. The nitrogen and nitrogenous compounds in turm help the plant to grow.

When the plant dies, the bacteria again decomposes it into nitrogenous compounds. Not only plants, but also animals. The nitrogen then passes through various stages and then gets back to atmospheric nitrogen. Bacteria is an important part of this nitrogen cycle.

How to calculate standard cell potential of a fuel cell.
laiz [17]

Answer:

The overall cell potential can be calculated by using the equation E0cell=E0red−E0oxid. Step 2: Solve. Before adding the two reactions together, the number of electrons lost in the oxidation must equal the number of electrons gained in the reduction. What are 3 rules for writing
scientific names?
Zigmanuir [339]

ANSWER

Binomial nomenclature gives each species a scientific name. Scientific name consists of two parts. The first is genus name and second is species name. It is always written in italics (if typed) or underlined (handwritten). The first letter of genus name is always capitalized. However, the first letter of species is not capitalized. For example, the scientific name of human is Homo sapiens. In this, Homo is genus which includes early and modern humans and sapiens is species specific

Explain how carbon cycles through the ecosystem in which you live.

PLEAASE HELP :((
vredina [299]

Answer:Carbon moves from living things to the atmosphere. Each time you exhale, you are releasing carbon dioxide gas (CO2) into the atmosphere. Animals and plants need to get rid of carbon dioxide gas through a process called respiration. Carbon moves from fossil fuels to the atmosphere when fuels are burned. The carbon cycle is nature's way of reusing carbon atoms, which travel from the atmosphere into organisms in the Earth and then back into the atmosphere over and over again. Most carbon is stored in rocks and sediments, while the rest is stored in the ocean, atmosphere, and living organisms.
