\text {You need to multiply by }  \dfrac{ \sqrt{11} }{ \sqrt{11} }

\dfrac{2 \sqrt{10} }{3 \sqrt{11} } \times  \dfrac{ \sqrt{11} }{ \sqrt{11} }  = \dfrac{2 \sqrt{10} \sqrt{11}  }{3 \times 11}   =  \dfrac{ 2\sqrt{110} }{33}

What is the surface area of the rectangular prism below?
Andrew [12]

Answer:

B ( 432 units^2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Total surface area= 2*(6*6)+ 4*(15*6)

There are 2 squares at each end of the same size so total area will be 2*(6*6)

If we look at the rectangles( bottom, top and the sides), we can see that all are of same dimensions and there are 4 of them so it's 4*(15*6)

In short, total surface area= 2*(6*6)+ 4*(15*6) = 432 units^2

Can anybody explain how I answer this question I really don't get trig equations
nasty-shy [4]

SinØ(TanØ+2)=3cosØ -----[pulling like terms out]

for the following steps The easiest 4 me is that I just plug in values between 0° and 180° for Ø and see which will help me to get equal numbers on both sides.

So, for instance if you use Ø=90°, you'll get the following, Sin90(Tan90+2)=3cos90

========> 1(1+2)=3(1) ==> 3=3

so 90° is one of the solutions ur looking for.

hope this was helpful
