To get the the cost of how much Alexis is paying we first have to find the original cost and then subtract the $15 which is equal to 20% of the original number.

To find the original price you take the $15 and divide it by .20

15÷.20= 75

To get the original price of a percentage you do the opposite of if you were trying to find the % for example :

75 x .20 = 15
15 ÷ .20 =75

The original price is $75

75 - 15 = 60

With the discount it is $60

I hope it helped

Well, because we know that he got $15 off, and it was a 20% coupon, we turn the 20% into a 5 instead of .5. We do this so we can multiply to find the total.

$15 x 5 = 75

If you type into your calculator $75 - 20%, you will get 60 which is 15 less than 75.

So the total is $75

Have a super day!

What is the best approximation of the solutions to the system to the nearest integer values?
Aleksandr-060686 [28]
The first number in the couplet is the distance along the x-axis (i.e. distance from the y-axis).  We can read 0.8 from the graph.
The second number is the distance along the y-axis (i.e.distance from the x-axis).  We can read 6.7 from the graph.

So approximately, we have the point as (0.8, 6.7).
Round the numbers to the nearest integer and you'll get the required answer choice.

Which are the like terms in 2y^3 – 4y^2 + y + y^3?
mash [69]
Like terms are going to have the EXACT same variables....or they can just be constants with no variables.

x^2 and 3x^2 are like terms
x^2 and x^3 are not like terms
8 and 9 are like terms
8x and 9y are not like terms

so ur like terms in ur problem are : 2y^3 and y^3
