18 degrees F because
it dropped 12 degrees=10 hours
                   x degrees=15 hours
x is what you want to find out which is how many degrees it would drop in 15 hours.
12x15 then divided by 10 is 18.

NEED URGENT HELP I WILL DO ANYTHING

1. Here are the four steps of the statistical process in correct order:
1) Plan - <span>Form a question that can be answered by data.
2) Collect data - D</span><span>esign and implement a plan that collects data.
3) Process - </span><span>Analyze the data using graphical and numerical methods.
4) Present and discuss - </span><span>Interpret and compare the data.
So your answer is the last option.

2. I am definitely sure that </span><span>Edgar wrote a statistical, because every neighbor can give a different answer. A statistical question is the question which you don't expect to get only one answer. Instead of that you will get a variety of different answers.

3. According to what I've mentioned before, the only statement which shows a characteristic of a statistical question is: </span><span>There can be variability in the answers to the question.

4. I am completely sure that this one is statistical question: </span>How many hours do you spend each week training for a sports league? Because it could be answered with variability.

5. The only statistical question in his survey is: <span>How many hours do you spend at the food court each month?. Because it gives him more different answers for his survey.</span>

Se the FOIL method to evaluate the expression: (5+2)(4-5)
DaniilM [7]

The FOIL <em>method</em> is a method of <u>expanding</u> two given <u>brackets</u> by following the required <u>steps</u>. Thus using the FOIL <em>method</em>, the required answer is: -7

<em>Expansion</em> of <u>brackets</u> may be done using different <em>methods</em>, but these <em>methods</em> would give the same answer. Some <em>methods</em> that can be used are the <u>binomial</u> expansion method, FOIL method, etc.

The FOIL <u>method</u> is a <em>shortened</em> form of the<u> steps</u> required for the process. These required <u>steps</u> are <u>First</u>, <em>Outside</em>, <em>Inside</em>, and <u>last.</u>

Thus to <u>expand</u> the given <em>brackets</em> in the question, we have;

(5+2)(4-5) = 5(4 - 5) + 2(4 - 5)

                = 20 - 25 + 8 - 10

                = 28 - 35

(5+2)(4-5) = -7

Thus using the FOIL <u>method</u>, the <u>answer</u> to the question is -7.

<em>Quick check</em>: (5+2)(4-5) = (7)(-1)

                             = -7

Identifying the slope, y-intercept and x- intercept of each
Elena L [17]

Answer:

slope= -3

y-intercept= 6

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Approach

To solve this problem, one needs the slope and the y-intercept. First, one will solve for the slope, using the given points, then input it into the equation of a line in slope-intercept form. The one can solve for the y-intercept.

2.Solve for the slope

The formula to find the slope of a line is;

m=\frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}

Where (m) is the variable used to represent the slope.

Use the first two given points, and solve;

(1, 3), (2, 0)

Substitute in,

\frac{(0)-(3)}{(2)-(1)}

Simplify;

\frac{-3}{1}\\\\=-3

3. Put equation into slope-intercept form

The equation of a line in slope-intercept form is;

y = mx + b

Where (m) is the slope, and (b) is the y-intercept.

Since one solved for the slope, substitute that in, then substitute in another point, and solve for the parameter (b).

y=-3x+b

Substitute in point (3, -3)

-3=-3(3)+b\\-3 = -9 + b\\6 = b
