The head should be positioned in the upper  of the body.

The weight of the center body should be over  the pelvis.

The legs and knees should be stable enough to support that body's weight

Explanation:

For humans to keep a balance while walking, their body must be properly positioned in the right manner.

  • The head must be fixed and positioned straight on the upper body. It should not at any point be unbalanced by being projected too forward or backward or to the side.
  • The weight of the center body should be over the pelvis. The alignment gives the proper positioning of the center of gravity of the human body.
  • The pelvis should carry and spread the weight of the body to the body parts that attaches to it.
  • The legs and knees should be straight and stable to support the weight of the body.
  • If they are not strong enough the body will wobble and not be balanced.

Which two molecules are the main structures in a cell membrane
Tasya [4]

Answer:

Phospholipids and proteins

Explanation:

The cell membrane is primarily composed of a phospholipid bilayer. The phospholipid molecules are made of a hydrophilic phosphate head and a hydrophobic fatty acid tail. These form a bilayer arrangement and act as a semi-permeable membrane.

There are also many proteins embedded in the phospholipid bilayer. These proteins act as channels, shuttles, transporters, enzymes, and signalling molecules to control the access of materials that cannot cross the bilayer and to respond to the extracellular environment.

Which statement about the light-independent reactions in photosynthesis is true?.
rjkz [21]

Answer:

The correct answer would be They comprise the Calvin cycle.

Calvin cycle refers to the set of chemical reactions taking place in the stroma of the chloroplast in which carbon is fixed into food (glucose). The whole process is divided into three stages namely: fixation, reduction, and regeneration (ribulose bisphosphate or RuBP).

It takes place in light-independent reaction of the the photosynthesis.

It does not require light energy to carry out the reactions however, it depends upon the products of light reaction (ATP and NADPH).

Fixation of one molecule of glucose requires 6 molecules of carbon dioxide, 9 ATP and 6 NADPH.

The fixation of carbon is catalyzed by an enzyme RuBisCO.

WINSTONCH [101]

The first steps of catabolism generally take place in the cytosol.

Glycolysis and pentose phosphate pathway are metabolic process that occurs inside of the cytosol. Other catabolic processes such as the citric acid cycle, electron transport chain, and oxidative phosphorylation all take place in the mitochondrial membrane.
