She kept her back against the walk as she scanned the room in front of her for any movements. Darkness filled the air around her making it almost impossible to see. The room had a cold silence to it despite the heat that rolled in through the vents. Sweat dripped down her forehead as the room became hotter. Than she heard it. The sound that would create her doom. Barely louder than a pin drop, but it was the last thing she would ever hear.
