What is Hamlet's attitude toward Rosencrantz and Guildenstern? What does he plan for them?

English
1 answer:
Burka [1]3 years ago

Answer: a. Hamlet does not trust them and will protect himself and try to turn their plots against them.

Explanation:

In this famous Shakespeare's play, Hamlet devises a plan to revenge his father's death. His father has been murdered by his uncle, Claudius, who becomes Hamlet's enemy.

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern were Hamlet's friends, but Claudius issues them an order to spy on Hamlet. When Hamlet accidentally kills Polonius, he is sent by Claudius to England, and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern accompany him. Claudius's plan is to kill Hamlet during this trip. Hamlet is, however, clever enough to understand that something is going on. He corrects the letter about his death in a way that it suggests that Rosencrantz and Guildenstern need to be killed instead of him. Upon hearing the news about their death, Hamlet claims that he does not have guilty conscience.

The climax of a story refers to the point of most drama or excitement in a story. This is usually the turning point of the narrative, and the moment most anticipated by readers.

In the case of "The Fall of the House of Usher," the climax of the story occurs when Roderick sees Lady Madeline burst through the door covered in blood. At this moment, the tension is extremely high, as the reader realizes that Lady Madeline was buried alive.
