Answer: a. Hamlet does not trust them and will protect himself and try to turn their plots against them.

Explanation:

In this famous Shakespeare's play, Hamlet devises a plan to revenge his father's death. His father has been murdered by his uncle, Claudius, who becomes Hamlet's enemy.

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern were Hamlet's friends, but Claudius issues them an order to spy on Hamlet. When Hamlet accidentally kills Polonius, he is sent by Claudius to England, and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern accompany him. Claudius's plan is to kill Hamlet during this trip. Hamlet is, however, clever enough to understand that something is going on. He corrects the letter about his death in a way that it suggests that Rosencrantz and Guildenstern need to be killed instead of him. Upon hearing the news about their death, Hamlet claims that he does not have guilty conscience.

What is “rage rage against the dying of the light” really saying
Nataly [62]
The speaker opens the poem with this phrase, saying, “Do not go gentle into that good night, / Old age should burn and rave at close of day; / Rage, rage against the dying of the light.” The speaker urges his father to struggle with death, which has upset the speaker for the decline of his father’s health. He believes that those who cry have not shown much brilliance in life. Hence, if they can survive longer, they would be able to achieve more success.
