Trade had a very big influence in medieval times. Thanks to trade, the medieval people had access to markets which contained goods that came from other parts of the world. Also, trade in the Medieval Era was responsible for the development of many cities in Northern Europe, such as Florence in Italy.

Goods that were not from Europe became common such as silk, spices, and different foods. All of this created different patterns of behavior, people got used to eating and use those things that came from other countries and cultures started to mix.

Also, the need for new goods pushed the International Trade which eventually led to the discovery of new lands such as the Americas.

Sveta_85 [38]
With the compelling Spanish Armada out for the count, it opened the entryway for the investigation of the American landmass by the French and the British. As these two countries developed provinces in the "new world" they turned out to be increasingly affluent. England, which hadn't almost enough farmland to equip an armed force, and a deficiency of timber that made maritime extension troublesome, looked for both of these things in the American landmass.

Why did Los Angeles City leaders need to seek water sources outside of the city?
mamaluj [8]
Because there is a water shortage happening there. They needed to conserve water and be supplied from sources. Right now there are strict measures in the use of water around that area to ensure that it does not go to waste.
