Which Persian leader do you think made the biggest contribution

History
1 answer:
torisob [31]3 years ago
7 0
Cyrus' conquest was relatively humane compared to empires preceding his, such as the Babylonians and Assyrians. He allowed many areas of his empire a great deal of autonomy, rather than centrally controlling things. This distributed leadership allowed Persia to cover a greater geographical area than previous empires in that era and still be fairly stable, since most of its subjects were content to remain under Persian rule. Persian law was more codified and less arbitrary than previous empires; the king's seal declared approval of law which could only be reversed by further approved decrees -- not quite rule of law but going in that direction.

what about the nature or warfare during world war ii made the ability to produce war material so important?
vladimir2022 [97]

Because the war was wide spread and there was a need to supply millions of soldiers and sailors with the materials and machines they needed to fight. This was a true world war with fighting going on in much of the world .

As an example: the war in Europe might have lasted a year or two longer if it had not been for the ability of American to quickly produce all of the landing craft needed for the D-Day invasion.

¿Why was the election of 1828 considered one of the dirtiest In US history?
denis23 [38]

The election was considered the dirtiest in U.S. history because of the intense personal attacks against both candidates during the electoral campaign.

In the election, John Quincy Adams ran against Andrew Jackson. There were wild stories circulating about the past of both of them, including charges of murder, adultery and procuring of women.

The goal of this smearing campaign was to undermine the character of the opponent. Jackson was accused of taking parts in several duels and killing a man, he was also accused of adultery and running off with another man's wife. Adams on the other hand, was accused of procuring an American girl for the sexual services of the Russian czar ( Adams served as American ambassador to Russia ).

The election was won by Andrew Jackson.

Why do American leaders continue to play a major role in negotiating an Israeli Palestinian settlement
patriot [66]
The Israeli Palestinian conflict is a major scar in American foreign policy especially in the middle east becasue not only does it threaten Israeli security, but it is also a major source of Arab region resentment toward USA, therefore threatening the USA security and business interests in the region as well. This comes at the backdrop of the fact that Israel is USA staunch ally.
