A Short constitution can last longer and proves to be flexible for any amendment to be implemented.

People’s opinion would be esteemed and a deep understanding of the original draft of the constitution is necessary. It paves way for a greater clarity.

Longer constitution possesses more intrinsic details which states the rights and responsibilities of the people. But it may become obsolete in the passage of time. There’s scope for amendments in longer constitution.

having a shorter written constitution means that the document probably doesn’t contain a lot of complicated or unnecessary information. A shorter constitution might also be more flexible and more easily adaptable when circumstances change; it leaves more room for interpretation.  [PLATO]
