Read the excerpt from Part 2 of "The Most Dangerous Game," by Richard Connell.Following the trail with the sureness of a bloodho

und came General Zaroff. Nothing escaped those searching black eyes, no crushed blade of grass, no bent twig, no mark, no matter how faint, in the moss. So intent was the Cossack on his stalking that he was upon the thing Rainsford had made before he saw it. His foot touched the protruding bough that was the trigger. Even as he touched it, the general sensed his danger and leaped back with the agility of an ape. But he was not quite quick enough; the dead tree, delicately adjusted to rest on the cut living one, crashed down and struck the general a glancing blow on the shoulder as it fell; but for his alertness, he must have been smashed beneath it.What is the most likely reason the film adaptation changes this scene so that General Zaroff shoots arrows at Rainsford and his companion?

Answer:

To add a visual that creates suspense.

The most likely reason that the movie adaption of "The Most Dangerous Game" changes this scene so that General Zaroff shoots arrows at Rainsford and his companion is to add a visual that creates suspense.

Explanation:

They had a reason to add a visual that creates suspense because it would  be difficult to receive the same reaction as is created by reading the scene if they had portrayed that scene in a book.

So movie makers wanted viewers to keep having a question of what would happen next.

5. Pop music has often been seen as youth music. Why do you think pop music appeals to younger individuals? How has the industry
likoan [24]
Pop music is usually full of lyrics that appeal to young people that haven't had the chance to experience the world much, so the obscenities such as sex and money usually appeal to them. They are also usually fast paced and great for dancing which is not something that older audiences can do as much as the young ones. Many pop songs also emphasize youth as the greatest virtue, so it's not really adequate for an 80 year old person to behave like a 16 year old and sing how great it is to be young.

How does O’Henry draw upon themes, events, or character types from myths or traditional stories and render them new in “the prin
Lostsunrise [7]

In the story "The Princess and the Puma," O. Henry tells the story of a woman called Josefa, a man called Givens, and their encounter with a puma. In the story, O. Henry draws on several themes, events and characters from myths and other traditional stories.

For example, O. Henry draws on the theme of love, as he shows how far the two people are willing to go with their lies and their tales in order to protect their image in front of the person they love.

O. Henry also draws on an event common in myths, which is the fight between hero and beast. However, instead of the hero of this story succeeding, he is saved by a woman. This is a new take on a traditional subject.

Finally, O. Henry draws upon characters such as princesses, knights and lions that come from traditional stories and applies them in a modern Mexican setting.
