we have

p^4 - 81

we know that

(a^{2} -b^{2} )=(a+b)(a-b)

so

(p^4 - 81)=(p^{2} +9)(p^{2} -9) ------> expression 1

and

(p^{2} -9)=(p +3)(p-3) ------> expression 2

Substitute expression 2 in expression 1

(p^4 - 81)=(p^{2} +9)(p+3)(p-3)

therefore

the answer is the option

(p^{2} +9)(p+3)(p-3)

P⁴ - 81
p⁴ + 9p² - 9p² - 81
p²(p²) + p²(9) - 9(p²) - 9(9)
p²(p² + 9) - 9(p² + 9)
(p² - 9)(p² + 9)
(p² + 3p - 3p - 9)(p² + 9)
(p(p) + p(3) - 3(p) - 3(3))(p² + 9)
(p(p + 3) - 3(p + 3))(p² + 9)
(p - 3)(p + 3)(p² + 9)

The answer is (3).

Which number lint represents the solution set for the inequity -1/2x>4
g100num [7]

Answer:

B. x < -8

Step-by-step explanation:

Well first we need to get x by itself.

To do that we do 4 / -1/2 = -8

And since a negative was divided the > changes to a <.

So x<-8.

If x is less than -8 the line starts at -8 and goes to the left.

<em>Thus,</em>

<em>the answer is choice b.</em>

Please help logarithms!
nlexa [21]

Given:

\log_34\approx 1.262

\log_37\approx 1.771

To find:

The value of \log_3\left(\dfrac{4}{49}\right).

Solution:

We have,

\log_34\approx 1.262

\log_37\approx 1.771

Using properties of log, we get

\log_3\left(\dfrac{4}{49}\right)=\log_34-\log_349      \left[\because \log_a\dfrac{m}{n}=\log_am-\log_an\right]

\log_3\left(\dfrac{4}{49}\right)=\log_34-\log_37^2

\log_3\left(\dfrac{4}{49}\right)=\log_34-2\log_37          [\log x^n=n\log x]

Substitute \log_34\approx 1.262 and \log_37\approx 1.771.

\log_3\left(\dfrac{4}{49}\right)=1.262-2(1.771)

\log_3\left(\dfrac{4}{49}\right)=1.262-3.542

\log_3\left(\dfrac{4}{49}\right)=-2.28

Therefore, the value of \log_3\left(\dfrac{4}{49}\right) is -2.28.

The graph of relation v is shown. Which of the following graphs represents the relation and its inverse?
Elis [28]

Step-by-step explanation:
