Create a travel brochure or leaflet about the area you have mentioned in task:2.Your writing should persuade people to visit it.
Irina-Kira [14]

The assignment wants to analyze your writing ability. For this reason, I cannot write your text, but I will show you how to write it.

<h3>Text structure:</h3>
  • Start by presenting the place that you will indicate to be the travel destination.
  • Describe the place, showing its main characteristics.
  • Create a list where you cite the advantages of visiting this place.
  • Create a list of activities that can be done in the place.
  • Describe curiosities of the region that may be interesting to the traveler.

The main point that must be taken into account in your text is the use of adjectives.

Adjectives are a class of words that have the role of describing something or someone. In this case, you should use a lot of adjectives, giving a lot of detail about the travel location and allowing the reader to visualize it efficiently.

Which theme describes the main theme of the poem resisting arrest by kyle dargan ?
liq [111]

Answer:

Police brutality and the numberless arrests of African Americans

Explanation:

The main theme of 'Poem resisting arrest' is police violence of African Americans.

Using the metaphor of the poem for African American people, Dargan explains the events and feelings that his people go through every day. With the lines such as <em>"It has the right to remain either bruised or silent"</em>, he uses what we know about police and the brutality to bring us closer to when African American person goes through facing the police officer. He – or in this case, the poem – knows he will be <em>guilty</em>, that he is <em>powerless</em>, so he is turning <em>numb </em>and slowly becomes <em>one of the many</em>.

<u>Dargan uses the poem and the metaphor to explain how African Americans resist arrest and police brutality.</u>

<u>At the core, he is using the poem and poetry as the means of the resistance without being found guilty. </u>

I need stargirl summary plz.
k0ka [10]
I have never read the book, but I suggest that you should use some sort of website where they provide a summary. Please do not plagiarize, and reword to fit your personal assignment. I advise that next book report, read the book and develop a further understanding on the novel. Reading is such an amazing concept and you should not take it for granted. Good luck, and remember: NO PLAGIARIZING!!

Explanation:

Once aboard, the explorers set sail and used maps to navigate through known territory. The maps were not useful once sailors were out of sight of land or in unknown territory. How would they navigate over the vast Atlantic Ocean without any land markers to guide them? This problem led to the invention of navigation equipment.

What do you believe was the greatest invention ever and why?
lyudmila [28]

Answer:

Most of us tend to take printed materials for granted, but imagine life today if the printing press had never been invented. We would not have books, magazines or newspapers. Posters, flyers, pamphlets and mailers would not exist. The printing press allows us to share large amounts of information quickly and in huge numbers. Around the late 1430s, a German man named Johann Gutenberg was quite desperate to find a way to make money. At the time, there was a trend in attaching small mirrors to one’s hat or clothes in order to soak up healing powers when visiting holy places or icons. The mirrors themselves were not significant, but Gutenberg quietly noted how lucrative it was to create mass amounts of a cheap product.

During the 1300s to 1400s, people had developed a very basic form of printing. It involved letters or images cut on blocks of wood. The block would be dipped in ink and then stamped onto paper.

Gutenberg already had previous experience working at a mint, and he realized that if he could use cut blocks within a machine, he could make the printing process a lot faster. Even better, he would be able to reproduce texts in great numbers.
