The answer is H! When that happens (reflection of x and y), fold it diagonally or step by step. Step by step is reflection along x means fold up and down, and reflection along y means fold sideways. Hope that helps you!

Find the slope of the graph.
bogdanovich [222]

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Slope formula:</u>

\frac{y2}{x2} -\frac{y1}{x1} =m

m = slope

<u>Find 2 points from the graph:</u>

  • (-2, 4)
  • (4, -3)

<u>Substitute the points into the formula:</u>

<u />\frac{-3}{4} -\frac{4}{-2}

<u>Solve:</u>

<u />\frac{-3}{4} -\frac{4}{-2}=\frac{-7}{6}

The slope equals -(7/6) or -1 1/6.

Write the equation of the line that is parallel to the line y=−14x−3 through the point (4,4).
statuscvo [17]

Hello there! :)

Parallel lines have the same slope, so if one line has a slope of -14, then the line parallel to it has a slope of -14 as well.

We are also given a point that the line passes through.

That's enough information to find the equation of the line.

First, we write the equation in point-slope form, which looks like so:

y-y1=m(x-x1)

y1 is the y-coordinate of the point, m is the slope of the line and x1 is the x-coordinate of the point.

y-4=-14(x-4)

y-4=-14x+56

y=-14x+60

Hence, that's the equation. Hope it helps.
